1. My preference is for the R.G. Hardie Bagpipes. This is the make I play and the make I believe to be about the best on the market for the price.

2. You have a choice of playing the standard elk-hide bag or having them tie on or an L&M elk-hide bag or a Canmore Goretex bag.

3. You have a choice of the standard drone reeds they offer with their pipes or upgrading to the Eeze-drone Drone Reeds. (They have oterh reed options, but I believe Eeze-drone to be the best choice.)

4. You have the option of keeping the blowpipe that comes with your set and adding a Merrick rubber valve or upgrading to an Airstream blowpipe with the tobacco-pipe mouthpiece and built in Little Mac valve.
† Please note that the best length for the blowpipe depends on your height. The longer blowpipe is more appropriate for taller individuals, whereas the shorter blowpipe is more appropriate for shorter individuals.

5. You can purchase a bagpipe case to transport your pipes and accessories in. This is highly recommended.

7. Lastly, your bagpipes comes with a velvet bagcover with wool fringe and wool bagpipe cords. Standard colors are available as well as various upgrades to royal velveteen and silk or a tartan bag cover.
